Roberto Di Costanzo - adolescenza
indian ink, sanguine, chalks, charcoal and colored pencils on paper
Also in this third drawing the subject isn’t a real model. The aim of the work is to narrate the stage of adolescence only through a small window on a portion of a face. The eye, bright and intense, is the centre of this narration and catches the observer’s attention. In it, is clear the main message of all three of the drawings: the ability of human beings to read a soul by just looking at something as small as an eye. Here, the color is also more used than in the other two works: the pale redness of the cheek wants to underline the age and shyness of the boy.
